The Claim
There’s a small golden owl statue waiting to be claimed by anyone who can solve the riddles leading to it.
A man under the pen name “Max Valentin” decided to spend a total of 450 hours designing a a series of 11 written riddles which together hold the clue to where he buried an owl statue.
The owl that can be found from the riddles is a small bronze statue which can be traded in upon solving the riddles for a 10 inch tall, 20 inch wide statue of an owl that is made from solid gold and silver, with various diamonds studding the head. A legal protector holds the golden owl which was said to be worth around 150,000 euros in 1993.
The hunt was designed to last for a few months, maybe a year claims Valentin, but so far no one has found it and no one has even solved all of the riddles yet. He claims that “If all the searchers put all their knowledge together, the owl would be found in….two hours”. He has since claimed that he regrets putting to much effort into the puzzles as the hunt was launched on 15th May 1993, with no one seeming to be even close.
